Continium Joins EDF-Funded HIDRA Project on Modular RF Chiplet Design for Defense Systems

Continium Technologies s.r.o. Slovakia and our partner advICo microelectronics GmbH of Germany, became substitute project partners in the research and development project HIDRA (High Instantaneous Dynamic Range Direct RF sampling modular chiplet Architecture) within EDF (European Defence fund) program 2021.

The project consortium HIDRA around Beyond Semiconductor (SLO) was awarded as a 4 Million € grant within the category “Open call dedicated to SMEs for research of innovative and future-oriented defence solutions” based on November 2021 EDF call. Continium Technologies and advICo microelectronics will be involved in the IC design of GaN RF frontends for modular Software Defined Radio systems and ASIC package co-integration.
