Analog Circuit Designer / Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer
Location:
Košice and Bratislava/ Slovakia and Germany
Responsibilities:
Implementation of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit modules used in wireless semiconductors or power products based on existing system specification
Definition of concept, Understanding of customer system requirements
Circuit topology knowledge, Circuit design, and SPICE simulation of e.g. operation amplifiers (folded cascode Amp, fully differential Amp with common-mode feedback, Amp’s frequency compensation, multi-stage Amps), precision bandgap voltage or current references, current biasing of analog circuits, PLL clock synthesizer devices, high, mixers or LNA RF amplifiers
Low power/low voltage analog design techniques, Noise Optimization of analog circuits
Analog/Digital-Signal circuit simulation (SPICE) on a transistor, block as well as system top-level using Cadence design environment or Tanner/Mentor Design flow
Understanding of data converter architectures and working principles would be a benefit:Nyquist Switched-Capacitor (SC) ADC conversion, and oversampling Sigma-Delta ADC (A/D converters) with noise shaping, current-steering DAC cells (D/A converters)
Behavioural modeling of designed blocks (VerilogA, VHDL-AMS) or signal processing in MATLAB
Guidance and supervision of the layout mask engineer (understanding of matching properties and parasitic R/L/C elements)
Development of test concept and support of test program development
Lab characterization and debugging of modules and the IC product
Qualifications (professionals or graduates):
University: Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Semiconductor Technology
Main focus on analog circuit design, communications, microelectronics, or semiconductor physics
Knowledge of nano-meter CMOS/FinFET technologies, semiconductor devices (MOS & bipolar transistor) or high-frequency RF electronics
Hands-on experience with Analog/Mixed-Signal IC design flow from System specification to Chip TapeOut, circuit SPICE simulation, and lab analysis/measurements
CAD skills: Cadence, Mentor Graphics/Tanner or Synopsys design environment: schematic entry, SPICE-based circuit simulators, physical layout design and DRC/ERC/LVS layout verification in Assura, Calibre, Galaxy, post-layout simulation and debugging
Unix/Linux skills required
Experience with internet-based home office work (TeamViewer or WebEx meetings)
